Minister KN Lepcha visits flood affected area: Huge damages and loss due to flooded Teesta

Gangtok, Jun 18 ( UNI) The rains and landslide have caused loss to Life, Houses, Roads and Bridges, in North Sikkim.
Minister for Land Revenue Kunga Nima Lepcha, visited the affected areas in the North with PWD and Forests Ministers. They visited the washed away Mantam Suspension Bridge. Bay bridge has been damaged too.
Bailey Bridge over Lachen river has been washed away. Chungthang to Lachen is cut off. Two brides for Mantam and Bay have been sanctioned on the spot by Minister. A temporary footpath has also been sanctioned.
