Minister confident of SIT nabbing Gouri Lankesh murderer

Hubballi, Oct 7 (UNI) Karnataka Home Minister Ramalinga Reddy today said that the SIT constituted to trace the culprits of Journalist and activist Gouri Lankesh murder case are sure to apprehend them soon. Talking to newsmen after reviewing the progress of Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissionerate here, he said that he is hundred percent confident of making a great leap in this case at the earliest. Already some clues are being found and the SIT has made a dent into the case stating that there is no need to worry about. He said that police department in Karnataka has been performing well and law and order problem is almost zero. He said that he has travelled in seven districts to review the performance of the police department and has fond functioning satisfactory. He said that has made some suggestions to improve the functioning for smooth handling of law and order situation for effective maintenance of peace and tranquility. He said that he has asked the officials of the department to curb all illegal activities in respective jurisdiction.
