Mining giant Rio Tinto to send experts' team to Chhattisgarh

Raipur, Jan 18 (UNI) Australia's leading mining company Rio Tinto would send a team of experts to Chhattisgarh to explore the possibilities of investment in the mineral-rich state.
This was announced by company's Chief Adviser Johnathan Rose on Wednesday during his meeting with Chief Minister Raman Singh, who is currently on a 12-day business tour to Australia, an official release issued here said.
Mr Rose said that his company was keen to participate in the exploration of mineral resources in Chhattisgarh after the experts' team concludes its study on ecosystem and other aspects.
