Minerva Academy lift Administrator's Challenge Cup

Chandigarh, Sep 30 (UNI) Minerva Academy Football Club defeated Chandigarh Football Academy (CFA) by 3-0 in the final of the 14th All-India Administrator's Challenge Cup at the Sector 17 Football Stadium here today.
The blues from Chandigarh went in the game as clear favorites with a goal difference of whooping 55 without conceding a single goal in return. They have remained unbeaten in the tournament and have broken all goal scoring records in the process. From scoring a tournament history of record 22-0 to scoring a massive 50 in just three group games, they had done it all.
Punjab Governor V P Singh Badnore was the chief guest and distribted the prizes. Minerva Academy FC were awarded cheque of Rs. 3,00,000 and glinting trophy. Runners-up Chandigarh Football Academy, a venture of the Chandigarh Administration were given silver trophy along with cheque of Rs. 1,50,000 and third place Dalbir Football Academy received cheque of Rs. 75,000.
