Militants trigger a powerful IED on Sopore-Kupwara road

Srinagar, Dec 7 (UNI) Militants on Saturday detained a powerful Improvised Explosive Device (IED) on Sopore–Kupwara road disrupting normal traffic movement for several hours, official sources said.
They said an IED was triggered by militants at Gudshah on Sopore-Kupwara road. However there was no report of any loss of life or damaged to property.
The sound of the blast was heard in the entire area, they said adding traffic movement was disrupted on the road.
The area was immediately cordoned off and massive search operation was conducted.
However, militants had managed to escape they said.

HC directs Health Authority not to shift Covid patient to DDU Shimla

Shimla, Aug 11 (UNI) High Court of H.P. today directed not to shift the Covid 19 patients from Sirmaur and Solan Districts to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital, Shimla unless the hospitals at these districts run out of the capacity to attend the COVID 19 patients and priority will be given to treat them at those very places.

COVID-19: 360 fresh patients, 5 deaths in Chhattisgarh

been detected in Chhattisgarh during the past 24 hours while 222 patients have been discharged
from hospitals after recovery. Meanwhile, five infected patients succumbed to the virus.
