Militants aiming high with chemical weapons in Syria: Russia

Moscow, Oct 13 (UNI) Militants are planning something big with the use of chemical weapons in the Syrian province of Idlib, a senior Russian diplomat warned on Saturday.
"Yes, of course. [Russia has information]. The information comes constantly," Russia’s Permanent Representative to the OPCW, Ambassador to the Netherlands Alexander Shulgin revealed.
According to Mr Shukgin, "We have held several meetings at the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW).
''I applied to the Technical Secretariat and handed them detailed information about a provocation in the Idlib province. We know surnames of the armed opposition leaders and the number of barrels with chlorine.
"We were hoping that the Secretariat would raise its voice, but it had never happened," Tass quoted the Ambassador as saying.
"At any moment, the militants might get involved in something. This threat is real and it is still looming," he warned.
Deals on Syria’s Idlib demilitarised zone were adhered to, says top diplomat.
Russia has reiterated that members of the non-governmental organisation White Helmets were getting ready to fake a chemical weapons attack against civilians. Their aim was to pin the blame for the chemical weapons attacks on the Syrian government forces and justify the Western countries' strikes on Syria.UNI XC RJ 1622
