Militant of Ansar Ghazwatul Hind killed in Pulwama encounter

Srinagar, Nov 27 (UNI) A local militant of Zakir Musa led group “Ansar Ghazwatul Hind” was killed by security forces in an encounter which ensued during Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Tral area of south Kashmir district of Pulwama in the wee hours of Tuesday, official sources said.
They said on a tip off about the presence of militants, troops of Rashtriya Rifles, Special Operation Group (SOG) of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF launched a joint search operation at Hafoo Reshipora, Tral, in Pulwama in the wee hours today.
However, militants hiding in the area attacked security forces with automatic weapons, they said, adding that the fire was retaliated, ensuing in an encounter.
