Mild intensity quake jolts part of Himachal

Shimla, Jun 27 (UNI) A mild intensity earthquake jolted parts of Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh last night, the Met Office confirmed.
Shimla Met Office Incharge Manmohan Singh said that earthquake of magnitude 2.6 on the Richter scale hit part of Mandi district at 2147 hrs last night.
He said that Mandi fall in high seismic zone however the intensity of tremor was mild. No report of loss of live and property was reported from any where so far, he added.
