Mumbai, Jul 3 (UNI) Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Sunday that the Metro services will start within a year as most of the work has been completed.
Addressing a press conference here after election of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, he informed that most of the work of the Metro has been completed.
"In the meantime, we will not revoke all the decisions taken by the Maha Vikas Aghadi but those decisions which are not in the public interest will be revoked," he said.
On today's election for the post of Assembly Speaker, Fadnavis said that "we have won the semi-finals today" and expressed confidence that they would win tomorrow's final (floor test) with a majority.
