Metals prices mixed

Mumbai, Aug 27 (UNI)Mixed trends were seen in both Ferrous and Non Ferrous metal today trader at the Bombay Metal Exchange (BME) said.

In Ferrous metal Copper heavy and Copper Utensil fell by Rs 100 and Rs 200 per quintal respectively on weak demand while Brass utensil and Brass cutting rose by Rs 100 per quintal each on improved demand from stockists trader said.
However Brass Cutting and Aluminium utensil remained unchaged on moderate demand trader said
In non-ferrous Metal Copper wire bar,Nickel Cathode Aluminium Ingot, Zinc slab,Tin slab and Leads Ingot remained unchanged on moderate traders added.
Ferrous Metals (per quintal):
Copper heavy - Rs 35,400, Copper utensils - Rs 32,400,
Brass utensils - Rs 27,400, Brass cuttings - Rs 28,000 and Aluminium
utensils - Rs 11,900.
Non-ferrous Metals (per quintal):
Copper wire bars - Rs 38,800 Aluminium ingots - Rs 14,100,
Zinc slab - Rs 19,600, Lead ingots - Rs 13,500, Tin slabs- Rs 1,410
and Nickel cathode - Rs 775
