Meta twist for monster classic: Black and Rudd lead ‘Anaconda Reboot’

New Delhi, Sep 18 (UNI) Hollywood is breathing new life into the Anaconda franchise but with an unexpected twist. The first trailer for the upcoming reboot, starring comedy heavyweights Jack Black and Paul Rudd, has just dropped, and it reveals a unique, meta-horror approach to the classic jungle thriller.
The newly released trailer of Anaconda by Sony Pictures Entertainment India offers a fresh and unique spin on the classic survival-thriller. This meta reboot follows a group of filmmakers attempting to recreate a live-action movie about anacondas, but their passion project takes a terrifying turn when they encounter an actual deadly threat in the wild.
Directed by Tom Gormican and produced by Kevin Etten, Brad Fuller, the reboot blends self-aware comedy with genuine monster-horror thrills.
