Meghalaya: Vision 2032 programme held in Tura; Scholarships, grants and development Initiatives highlighted

Tura, March 6 (UNI) The "Our Magnificent Vision 2032 Meghalaya" programme, marking eight years of the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) government, was held at the P. A. Sangma Sports Complex here in West Garo Hills district on Friday.
Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Deputy Chief Ministers Prestone Tynsong and Sniawbhalang Dhar, Speaker of the Assembly Thomas A. Sangma, cabinet ministers and government officials attended the event.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister reflected on the Government's eight-year journey, acknowledging the challenges faced while expressing gratitude for the support of the people.

Two shot dead in Manipur's Ukhrul

Ukhrul (Manipur), Apr 18 (UNI) In fresh violence in Manipur’s Ukhrul district, two persons were shot dead along National Highway-202 today, triggering renewed tension in the area.
According to preliminary inputs, the victims were ambushed by suspected Kuki militants while travelling along the Imphal–Ukhrul road.

Bihar CM rules out lifting liquor ban amid NDA allies’ calls for review
