Shillong, Jan 22 (UNI) Meghalaya on Saturday recorded 406 new Covid-19 cases, the highest one-day spike, and one death, surging the number of active cases to 2,002 and fatalities to 1,496, health officials said.
With the sudden spurt of Covid-19 cases, the State government will review the situation arising out of rising cases of Omicron variant.
