Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Jan 4 2016 10:39PM Meghalaya HC closes right of state to file affidavit on LokayuktaShillong, Jan 4 (UNI) Meghalaya High Court today decided to close the right of Meghalaya government to file affidavit on the provisions of Meghalaya Lokayukta Act, 2014, after Chief Secretary PBO Warjri failed to file a comprehensive affidavit on the issue. “We have asked the Chief Secretary only to file a comprehensive affidavit, which he has not done. Thus, we close the right of state to file affidavit,” a Division Bench comprising Justices Uma Nath Singh and T Nandakumar Singh said in its order.
