Meghalaya Congress to file petition against two more defectors

Shillong, Dec 2 (UNI) The Congress Legislature Party in Meghalaya has decided to file a petition against two more of its former legislators Charles Pyngrope and Shitlang Pale, who were part of the Mukul Sangma-led legislators who had deserted the party to join the Trinamool Congress recently.
The party has already moved a petition seeking the disqualification of ten legislators, in the wake
of which, Speaker, Metbah Lyngdoh has issued a show-cause notice to former Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on a petition filed by Congress legislator, Dr. Mazel Ampareen Lyngdoh.
