Medplus announces partnership with Jamieson Wellness for sale of branded products

Hyderabad, Nov 13 (UNI) MedPlus, the leading pharmacy retailer in the country, on Wednesday announced that it has entered into an exclusive distribution partnership with Jamieson Wellness Inc, Canada’s number one manufacturer and marketer of branded vitamins, minerals and supplements.
Under the agreement, Medplus will sell the Jamieson branded products through its 1700 plus pharmacies as well as other offline and online retailers across the country, MedPlus founder and CEO Mr Madhukar Gangadi said at a press conference here.
Our goal has always been to offer genuine medicines and the highest quality products to our customers and bringing the Jamieson brand to India is another step in that direction, he informed.

MedPlus, the second largest pharmacy chain in the country, with 1700 plus locations and plans to increase its retail footprint to over 1300 locations by 2023, he said the chain currently receives 3,50,000 customers visits per day to its-e-commerce website and retail locations.
The total market size in supplement and Nutrients is expected to be 18 billion US dollars by 2025, Mr Gangadi said that our presence was currently in seven states including Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu and we are also focusing on Northern states to expend its footprint.
Our distribution strength through our own Omni-channel platform and tie-ups with other retailers will help make Jamieson products available across the country, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Jamieson Wellness Inc President and CEO Mark Hornick said that our company vision is to improve the world’s health and wellness and our partnerhsip with MedPlus is helping us to achieve it.
With this new agreement, Jamieson branded products are available in over 40 countries worldwide, he said.
