Medinipur village boy Sougata Das tops WB Madhyamik with 99.94 pc; Record 86.07 % students passed

Kolkata, May 21(UNI) Village boy Sougata Das of Muhammed Despran Vidyapith of East Medinipur stood first, securing 594 out total 600 marks as the results of the West Bengal Madhyamik examinations of 2019 were declared today, exactly 88 days after the board exams were completed on February 22.
A record 86.07 per cent candidates emerged successful in the class 10th exam conducted by West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.
Das secured about 99.94 per cent out of total 600 marks.
