MEC to organize info session on B.Tech admission programme tomorrow

Chennai, Apr 20 (UNI) Mahindra Ecole Centrale (MEC) College of Engineering
would be organizing an information session for B.Tech aspirants in Chennai
here on Sunday and share details of admissions to B.Tech programme at its
Hyderabad campus for the academic year 2019-2023 with prospective students
and their parents.
MEC top management and admission team will take the aspirants and their
parents through a comprehensive module that showcases the MEC
differentiation during the day long session.
“We at Mahindra Ecole Centrale ensure that the students are provided the
best inputs so that they develop a well-rounded engineering background,
that will help them stay globally relevant even in the times to come'', according
to Rakesh Sreedharan, Head-Admissions and Marketting, MEC.
''For this, we focus on an interdisciplinary education, combined with renowned
and experienced faculty, unique teaching methodologies, industry immersion
and world class facilities'', he said, according to a MEC release here today.
MEC has a total of 240 seats in its B.Tech Programme--60 each for the four
courses in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical and Civil
Engineering.
Students who have a 10+2 or equivalent from any statutory board with 60 per
cent aggregate marks in all subjects or equivalent grade for the students from
IB or other approved Board were eligible to apply for admission, which would
be granted on the basis of either JEE Main 2019 (Qualify in JEE (MAIN) 2019
examination and be eligible to write the JEE Advanced 2019) or SAT scores
(minimum 1800 in subjects which should include Mathematics, Physics and
Chemistry).
