MDA allies assure support to NPP candidate for RS seat in Meghalaya

Shillong, Jun 17 (UNI) The ruling partners of the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) on Wednesday night have unanimously agreed to support the candidature of Dr Wanwei Roy Kharlukhi in the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls slated for June 19.

“All political parties and legislators supporting the MDA the government have expressed their support for Dr Kharlukhi,” Chief Minister Conrad Sangma told reporters after the MDA meeting.
