MCC Violation: Over two lakh complaints addressed in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 21 (UNI) "Through the cVIGIL mobile App prepared by the Election Commission to report Model Code of Conduct violations, 209,661 complaints have been received so far, with action taken on 206,152 complaints, Chief Electoral Officer Sanjay Kaul has said.
From March 16 to April 20, a total of 2,09,661 complaints were received via the App, with 426 complaints currently in process.
The majority of complaints received through cVIGIL were related to unauthorized posters, banners, boards, wall writings, posters without mandatory information, property vandalism, unauthorized monetary transactions, use of vehicles without permission, distribution of alcohol, gifting, weapon display, and hate speeches.
