MCA celebrates 50 years of Wankhede Stadium

Mumbai, Jan 23 (UNI) The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) on Thursday added another momentous chapter in its remarkable history by becoming the new Guinness World Records title holder for the ‘Largest Cricket Ball Sentence’ as part of their celebration commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

In a special tribute to the day the cricket journey began at the Wankhede Stadium, the record was created on the anniversary of the stadium’s first-ever international match, played in 1975, when India faced West Indies in a memorable Test match from January 23 to 29.
