Mayor rewarded bicycle to Cyclegiri winner in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, Sep 2 (UNI) Mayor Raj Bala Malik and IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh K K Yadav Wednesday awarded bicycle to the winner of Cyclegiri campaign launched two weeks ago.
The Mayor appreciated the initiative of 'My FM' and especially the efforts put on by RJ Meenaxi for promoting cycling in the city.
During the two week long campaign, one boy Master Cheeku got a new bicycle from the Mayor who said he use to go to his school on foot, which was located four Kms away from the house of his uncle and could not afford a cycle. Therefore, he thanked the Mayor, Commissioner and RJ Meenaxi for arranging bicycle for him.
