Lucknow, Aug 14 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati has raised a question as to whether the Centre and the Bihar government do not want to hold the upcoming Assembly elections on time.
In a tweet, the BSP honcho said, "The situation of the plight of the lakhs of poor families affected by the coronavirus epidemic and floods due to government neglect and lack of relief is in national discussions. Angry people there are holding MLA hostage, yet the government remains indifferent and irresponsible which is extremely sad and inhuman."
In another tweet, she said, "It is strange that such government maladjustment and ignorance of public interest at every level in Bihar is happening at such a time when the Assembly elections there are very close. In such a situation, the question arises in the minds of the people as to whether the Centre and the Bihar government have decided not to hold the Assembly elections there on time?"
