Mayawati condemns misconduct towards CJI BR Gavai in court, calls it 'shameful and deeply saddening'

Lucknow, Oct 6 (UNI) Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati has strongly condemned the alleged act of misconduct directed at Chief Justice of India (CJI) BR Gavai during a court hearing earlier today.
Taking to social media platform X today night, she called the incident “deeply saddening” and “shameful,” asserting that such behavior deserves the strongest condemnation.
In her post, Mayawati stated “the attempt to behave in an indecent manner with the Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, BR Gavai, during today’s court proceedings is extremely sad and shameful. No amount of condemnation is enough for this incident. Everyone must take proper and appropriate cognizance of this matter.”
