Mauni Amavasya: Over 1 cr devotees likely to take holy dip in Sangam

Prayagraj, Jan 23 (UNI) More than one crore devotees are expected to take a holy dip on Friday at Triveni Sangam on the occasion of the 'Mauni Amavasya'.
Keeping in view of the gigantic gathering at the banks of congregation of Ganga, Yamuna and invisible Saraswati, the district administration has pulled up its socks to keep a strict vigil on the crowd.
An official in-charge of "Magh Mela", Rajnish Mishra, informed that the number of 'ghats' in the Sangam area have been increased from six to 18.

Four trains will run from Allahabad Junction to Kanpur, four for Mughalsarai and one train to Manikpur.
