Massive search launched in north Kashmir woods after some suspicious movement

Srinagar, Sep 23 (UNI) Security forces launched a massive search operation near the Line of Control (LoC) in the woods in Keran sector in north Kashmir district of Kupwara, after some suspicious movement was noticed early this morning.
Meanwhile, search operations in the Uri and Naugam sectors were also going on since September 20 when troops foiled two infiltration bids from Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). A soldier had lost his life in the Naugam encounter before the militants escaped.
Official sources said security forces guarding LoC in Keran sector noticed some suspicious movement early this morning. Security forces opened fire towards the area but there was no return fire.
