Thrissur, Mar 27 (UNI) The body of versatile Malayalam film actor Innocent who died in a Kochi
hospital Sunday night, was brought to his home town in Irinjalakuda and has been kept for public darshan at the town hall.
Several of his colleagues from film world were present to receive the body which was brought
from Kochi where it was kept at the Rajiv Gandhi Indoor stadium, to enable people to pay their
last respects.
Hundreds of people lined up on both sides if the road enroute from Kochi to Irinjalakuda to have a last
glimpse of their most favoured actor.
Mr Innocent (75) was a member of Parliament from Chalakudy Lok Sabha constituency during 2014-19.
After a three hour public darsh at the town hall, the body will be taken to his nearby home.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 1100 at the St Josephs cathedral.
