Maruti Suzuki launches 2018 Ciaz

New Delhi, Aug 20 (UNI) Maruti Suzuki on Monday launched the much awaited 2018 Ciaz with a starting price of Rs 8.19 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki claimed that the new engine christened ‘K15’ has 13 per cent more power (at 103 brake horsepower) and 6 per cent more torque (at 138 Newton metre) compared to the earlier generation.

Bookings for the car opened earlier this month for an amount of Rs 11,000, a company spokesperson said.

The 2018 Ciaz has an all-new 1.5-litre hybrid petrol engine at its heart, replacing the earlier 1.4 litre petrol.
