Martyrs memorial should hold monthly programs: Yogi

Gorakhpur, Jan 27(UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Wednesday that programmes should be organized at all the martyrs memorials of the state at least once a month so that children would understand the importance of these memorials.
While addressing the officials after inspecting Chaurichaura Shaheed Smarak in Gorakhpur on Wednesday he said that frequent programs should be organized at these memorials and stressed that public participation should also be ensured at these programmes.
The CM said that the police band should play patriotic tunes once a week at these memorials as a tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives for the nation.
