Married woman commits suicide

Nashik, Jan 13 (UNI) A 23 year-old married woman Monali Mayur Sonawane (23) committed suicide after jumping into a well at Kanashi village in Kalvan taluka of this district.
Abhona police said today, Monali Sonawane from Kanashi village in Kalvan taluka, who was fed up with the mental and physical harassment of her father-in-law, following the harassment she left her one-month-old baby behind and jumped into a well, ending her life.
Her husband Mayur Sonawane has been arrested and a case was registered with Abhona police.

Border Force jawan Amol Patil cremated in Nashik

Nashik, Jan 17 (UNI) The mortal remains of trooper Amol Himmatrao Patil (30), who was electrocuted while on duty on the Bihar-Nepal border, along with his two colleagues, last week, were cremated with full military honours at his native Bolthan village in Nandgaon tehsil of the district on Monday.
