Mumbai, May 23 (UNI) The benchmark BSE Sensex declined , while NSE Nifty slamped below 9400 marks in the early hours trading today following heavy profit booking at the major counters on the country's premiser BSE and NSE stock exchange here. The 30=scripts BSE sensex opened in negative zone, with selling pressure , but within some time investors started buying, which boost the sensex above 3600 marks, against profit booking seen at major stocks, causing the sensex came down to 3046.01 points against previous close of 30,470.97 points losing 144.96 points. While, NSE nifty opened with positive note, but sustained it for long time to came down to below 9400 mark to 9393.05 points, decling by 44.80 points. Shares of healthcare, power, realty, PSU, consumer durables, oil and gas and metal were trading in the negative zone, with losses of up to 2.40 per cent. The banking share also declined marginally. .
