MARKET-FOREX-INTRO

Mumbai, Sep 24 (UNI) The Rupee on Monday heavily down by 43 paise to 72.63 against the greenback due to strengthening of greenback against other currencies overseas, dealers at the Forex Market said.
Rising by 17 paise on Friday, the local unit slipped by 26 paise to 72.46 against the US Dollars today.
Till the end of the session it further lost by 43 paise to finish at 72.63 as compared to its last close.
High oscillation was witnessed during the day, as it registered day high and low at 72.74 and 72.30 respectively.
Strong dollar against other currencies overseas, on reports that China had cancelled the upcoming trade talks with the US, weighed on the rupee even, slumping stock market also kept the indian currency under pressure, they added.
