Marathwada reports 49 more deaths due to COVID-19

Aurangabad, Sep 21 (UNI) The Marathwada region of Maharashtra on Monday reported as many as 49 fresh COVID-19 fatalities across the eight district of the region during the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile the region also reported 1348 fresh cases of COVID-19, authorities said on Monday.
According to the details data from all the district headquarters collected by UNI stated that out of the eight districts of the region Latur was the worst affected with 330 fresh cases and 12 fatalities, followed by Aurangabad with 277 new cases and 10 deaths, Osmanabad 182 new cases and 10 deaths, Nanded 249 new cases and 6 deaths, Beed 159 cases and 6 deaths, Jalna 100 cases and 2 deaths, Parbhani 2 deaths and 36 cases and Hingoli 24 cases and one death, data added.
Meanwhile, 20598 fresh cases of coronavirus were spotted and 455 were succumbed during past 24 hours across in the state.
With this total 12.86 lakhs coronavirus positive patients reported in the state of them 8.84 lakhs were cured while 32671 were succumbed during the treatment so far, sources added.
