Marathwada reports 46 more deaths due to COVID

Aurangabad, Sept 19 (UNI) The Marathwada region of Maharashtra on Saturday reported as many as 46 fresh COVID-19 fatalities across the eight district of the region during the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile the region also reported 1,606 fresh cases of COVID-19, authorities said on Saturday.
According to the details data from all the district headquarters collected by UNI stated that out of the eight districts of the region Aurangabad was the worst affected with 313 fresh cases and 13 fatalities followed by Latur with 303 new cases and 10 deaths, Beed 178 new cases and 7 deaths, Naned 283 new cases and 5 deaths, Parbhani 88 cases and 5 deaths, Osmanabad 275 cases and 4 deaths, Jalna 2 deaths and 119 cases and Hingoli 46 new cases, the data revealed.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra state has so far reported 11.67 lakhs cases of corona out of which 8.34 lakhs have been cured.
While 31,756 people have succumbed to the virus in the state, 3.88 lakhs active cases are currently undergoing treatment in the state, sources said.
