Marathwada records 858 fresh nCoV cases, 6 deaths

Aurangabad, Feb 28 (UNI) Intensity of positive Coronavirus seen raising in urban areas across the eight districts of Maharashtra's Marathwada region reported 858 fresh cases during the past 24 hours, health authorities informed on Sunday .
However, the authorities also reported that six patients of Corona positive were succumbed during the same period.
Details from all the district headquarters collected by UNI show that out of the eight districts of the region are,Aurangabad district recorded 297 cases and 2 deaths followed by Jalna registered 178 new cases and 2 deaths ,Latur had 82 new cases and single death ,Nanded had 80 cases and single deaths,
Beed had 77 cases, Parbhani had 70 cases,Hingoli had 46 cases and Osmanabad registered 28 new cases.
Meanwhile, Hingoli district collector decleared seven days total curfew in district from March 1 to 7 while night curfew enforce in Aurangabad district and two days Jantha curfew in progress in Latur district.
As per official data, 8,623 more corona cases and 51 deaths were reported from across the state during the past 24 hours, taking the state's cumulative case tally to 21,46,777.
Meanwhile, 3,648 patients were cured and discharged from hospitals during the same period across the state, taking the total number of recoveries so far in Maharashtra to 20,20,951.
With this, the state's recovery rate has now goes down and stand to 94.14 per cent as well as and the death rate stand at 2.43 per cent.
According to the health officials, so far, a total of 52,092 patients have succumbed to the disease in the state and more than 72,530 active patients are currently under treatment in Maharashtra.

Pune, April 25 (UNI) Day temperatures were markedly above normal(5.1°C or more) at many places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim; at isolated places over Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal and Assam and Meghalaya; appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Jharkhand; above normal (1.6°C to 3.0°C) at many places over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema, south interior Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and Kerala and Mahe; at isolated places over east Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and Telangana. These were below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at isolated places over Vidarbha and east Madhya Pradesh and near normal over rest parts of the country. Yesterday, the highest maximum temperature of 43.7°C was reported at Anantapur
(Rayalaseema) over the country.
