Mansbal park blast accused arrested in central Kashmir

Srinagar, Aug 10 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police arrested another accused involved in explosion in a park in central Kashmir district of Ganderbal in June this year, a police spokesman said here on Friday evening.
He said Ganderbal police apprehended an absconder, identified as Mohammad Imran Sofi, resident of Kondabal Safapora Ganderbal, who was involved in a case related to blast at Manasbal Park on June 17, 2018.
In the incident, 13 local visitors, including minors and students, were injured.
The investigation suggested that the accused had masterminded the blast.
Besides, the accused was also a chronic stone pelter, who was involved in instigating the youth of the area to resort to stone pelting.
The accused has been detained for further investigation, the Spokesman added.
