Mann govt has zero tolerance for corruption : Kang

Chandigarh, May 24 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab lauded Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for his prompt decision to sack and take legal action against minister Vijay Singla, who is facing corruption charges.
AAP Punjab's chief spokesperson Malwinder Singh Kang said that the Mann government has a zero-tolerance policy for corruption, whether it be a minister or an MLA, the corrupt will not be spared he stressed.
In a statement here on Tuesday, Kang said that people have high hopes from the AAP's government to root out corruption in the state, and that they will live up to those expectations. He claimed that the Chief Minister has set an example of integrity by dismissing his own cabinet minister, Dr Vijay Singla, who is accused of seeking 1 per cent commission for releasing departmental tenders.
