Manipur: Wife of former MLA dies in blast

Imphal, Aug 11 UNI Charubala, the wife of a former Manipur legislator Yamthong Haokip, died on Sunday from wounds sustained in a blast, police said.
A police officer said the bomb exploded at ex Saikul MLA Haokip's residence in Mulam village under Kangpokpi district on Saturday, grievously injuring Charubala.
She was rushed to hospital, but succumbed to her injuries on Sunday. UNI NS AT SY SSP
