One Congress MLA and four Naga people’s Front (NPF) MLAs had submitted their resignation papers to the Speaker. Congress MLA Y Erabot has already joined the BJP. The four NPF MLAs, Dr V Alexander Pao of Karong Assembly constituency, Dikho from Mao ,ST Nunghlung Victor from Chandel and Samuel Risom from Ukhrul have also resigned.
