Mangaluru, Jan 20 (UNI) Police have served notices to more than 650 people, including women, children and government employees from Kerala, for taking part in the protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in Mangaluru that turned violent on December 19.
Notices have been served to the women, students, patients and employees, who had visited the protest-hit areas, apart from the accused in the cases registered at Mangaluru North Police Station, asking them to appear before the station officer for inquiry.
Police are also said to be preparing to serve notices to 2000 people.
