Manav Karunya Yatra of Kidney Foundation of India to commence from Oct 2

Kannur, Oct 1 (UNI) The fourth Manav Karunya Yatra, of Kidney Foundation of India (KFI) under the Kannur University will commence from tomorrow at Payyanur and it will end on October 26 at Thalassery.
Talking to mediapersons here today, KFI chairman Fr David Chirammel said in past three Manav Yatras was organised from Kasargod to Thiruvananthapuram, but this year the focus is only in Kannur District and it is expected that the people of Kannur will accept it like the people of Kerala in the past years. The NSS units of Kannur university began a social awareness mission programme.
The main aim of the yathra is to achieve good health- friend ship- youths Keralam and to create awareness among the people for a better food, water in nearby premises of each houses, said Fr David Chirammel.
