Man, son injured in firing by gunmen in north Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 6 (UNI) A man and his son were injured when unidentified gunmen fired at Langate in the frontier district of Kupwara Friday evening, official source said.
They said gunmen resorted to firing at Hajan Kralgund, Langate in Kupwara this evening resulting in injuries to Ghulam Mohammad Khan and his son. The gunmen managed to escape under the cover of darkness, they said.
The injured have been rushed to hospital, source said adding further details are awaited.
