Man kills wife by smashing head with boulder

Dindigul, Tamil Nadu Aug 26 (UNI) A man brutally murdered his wife by smashing her head with a boulder over domestic quarrel, here today.
Police said Elangkumaran (45), a coolie labourer, who was addicted to liquor, often quarrel with his wife Maheswari (40) over some domestic issues. He bashed her head with a boulder after a tiff. The woman died on the spot.
On a complaint from neighbours, police rushed to the house and removed the body to government hospital for post-mortem. A search is on to arrest Elangkumaran, who is absconding.
