Man injured in leopard attack in Pune

Pune Oct 26 ( UNI) A 45- year old man was injured, when a leopard attacked him near Hadapsar area here this on Tuesday morning while he was going for a morning walk.
Maharashtra forest department said in its release that the incident occurred around 0600 hrs this morning, when the victim, Sambhaji Baban Atode ( 45) a resident of Govasai Vasti was attacked by leopards near the Serum Institute of India (SII) injuring both his hands .
He was rushed to the government run Sassoon Hospital where his condition was stated to be stable, the city police said.
