Man hacks wife to death in Namkum of Ranchi

Ranchi, Aug 9 (UNI) A man hacked his wife to death following a feud at Sogodh village under Namkum Police Station area of this district.
The deceased woman has been identified as Nandiya Devi (30). Her husband Karma Munda was later taken into custody by the police and the axe used in the killing was also seized.
Police said that the couple had a dispute after dinner late Saturday night and in the heat of the moment, the man hit his wife on head and neck with axe due to which she died on the spot. The body was later sent for post-mortem.
