Man gives poison to wife, 3 kids before committing suicide in UP

Barabanki, Jun 5 (UNI) A man committed suicide before feeding poison to his wife and three children owing to a financial crisis in the city Kotwali area of this Uttar Pradesh district, police said on Friday.
The deceased were identified as that Vivek (38), a resident of Safedabad in the city Kotwali area, fed poison to his wife Anamika (32), daughters Koyal (12) and Komal (7) and son Babbal (5). He later committed suicide by hanging himself.
Superintendent of Police Arvind Chaturvedi said here that Vivek's room was locked since some time and a bad smell was also emanating from there. The family members had a suspicion and when the deceased's mother went up to the terrace and looked in his room, she saw him hanging.
