Man drowns while bathing in pond in Chatra

Chatra, Dec 26 (UNI) A man lost his life on Saturday as he drowned while having a bath in a pond located in the middle of the city.
The deceased Naresh Ram a resident of Nagwan locality had gone for taking a bath in the pond however while bathing he slipped into deeper waters and was drowned after which people informed the local police and family members.
A police team led by officer in-charge of Sadar Police Station Luv Kumar reached on the spot and with the help of local fishermen took out the body which was later sent for post-mortem.
