Man dies, 2 others injured in car-motorcycle collision in Kolhapur

Kolhapur, Jul 11 (UNI) A 58-year-old man was killed while his son and another man were seriously injured in a collision between a speeding car and motorcycle at Tarabai Park of the city on Saturday.
The deceased, Purshottam Vasudev Baliga (58), resident of Kadamwadi of the city, was on way to Sadar Bazar on his motorcycle on the wrong side of the road along with his son this morning, when a speeding car collided vigorously with his motorcycle.
In this incident, Purshottam and his son were seriously injured and they were rushed to Service hospital in Kasba Bavda area of the city, where Purshottam succumbed to his grievous head injury before getting any medical treatment, police said.
