Man booked for working in three govt jobs for 17 years under same name in UP

Amroha, Aug 3 (UNI) A man, who was working as a Lekhpal, principal and teacher in three different districts of Amroha, Sambhal and Badaun for 17 years was booked and a probe initiated into the matter, police said on Monday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Dr Vipin Tada said here that the matter of a man employed in government jobs in three separate districts for 17 years using the same name, has come to light. An investigation will also be done into those responsible for helping him and strict action will be taken against the guilty.
The written complaint by the District Basic Shiksha Adhikari kept on gathering dust for 16 days, waiting for an FIR to be registered. After the matter was procrastinated by Naugawan Sadat police, DM Umesh Mishra took cognizance of the matter and subsequently, the Naugawan Sadat police registered a case in the matter.
