Man accused of spying for Pakistan sentenced by ATS court

Lucknow, July 3 (UNI) A man accused of leaking information related to the army to Inter-Service Intelligence (ISI), the Pakistani intelligence agency, in lieu of money was sentenced to five years and three months rigorous imprisonment and penalty of Rs 4,800 by a special court of National Investigation Agency (NIA)-Anti Terror Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh Police.
As per the statement issued by the ATS on Sunday Aftab Ali, a resident of Faizabad, was arrested in the year 2017 for leaking information regarding movement of the army and deployment of battalion to his handler in the ISI.
During investigation it was revealed that such persons, whose relatives are in Pakistan, the ISI make efforts to persuade them to join and work as spies. In return such people are being lured with huge money and promise to get them married.

Dharamsala, Oct 7 (UNI) The national flag is a symbol of the unity, integrity and sovereignty of India and all citizens should respect the national flag. Speaker Vipin Parmar expressed this while addressing the people on the concluding occasion of the Tricolor Mahayatra at the Kachari in Dharamsala on Friday.
He said that the 1025 meter long national flag was also handed over to the district administration on the occasion. He said that in the episode of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence, from August 13 to August 15, the 'Har Ghar Tricolor' campaign was also launched across the country in which all the countrymen enthusiastically participated.
Vipin Parmar said that along with India, the pride of the national flag tricolor has also increased in the whole world.
